Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth workflow
- Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff to deliver top-quality food
- Create new dishes and contribute to menu planning with the Head Chef
- Prepare, cook, and present food according to restaurant standards and recipes
- Manage kitchen inventory, order supplies, and maintain equipment
- Support financial planning, budgeting, and cost-effective food production
- Step in and lead kitchen operations in the Head Chef’s absence
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years proven experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef, or culinary team leader
- Strong knowledge of various cooking styles and ability to create tasty dishes from simple ingredients
- Safe food handling certification
- Excellent leadership, dependability, integrity, and cooperation skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 45 pounds
Work Schedule & Benefits
- Full-time position with 8 or 10-hour shifts
- Monday to Friday schedule with weekend availability
