Key Responsibilities

• Culinary Excellence: Maintain exceptional standards for food quality, presentation, consistency, and execution across all menu items.
• Team Leadership: Lead, coach, train, and develop culinary team members while fostering a positive, accountable, and team-oriented kitchen culture.
• Guest Experience: Ensure every dish meets the highest standards, contributing to memorable dining experiences that keep guests coming back.
• Kitchen Operations: Partner with the Executive Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations, preparation, line execution, and service.
• Quality & Consistency: Uphold standards for premium steaks, fresh ingredients, scratch cooking, and exceptional plate presentation.
• Operational Performance: Assist with food cost management, inventory, ordering, labor productivity, and waste reduction without compromising quality.
• Food Safety: Maintain outstanding sanitation, cleanliness, food handling, and safety standards.
• Culture & Development: Build a kitchen environment centered on teamwork, professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

• Previous Sous Chef or strong culinary leadership experience in an upscale casual, polished casual, or fine dining restaurant.
• Passion for exceptional food quality, culinary craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
• Experience with premium steaks, high-quality proteins, and scratch kitchen operations preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a culinary team.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to execute consistently in a high-volume, quality-driven environment.
• A hands-on leadership style with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
