Do you thrive in a high-volume, event-driven kitchen where timing, precision, and teamwork are everything? We’re seeking a Banquet Sous Chef to help lead culinary execution for meetings, banquets, and special events that demand consistency and excellence—every time.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll guide a team, maintain standards, and step into the action when it matters most. If you enjoy variety, structure, and the excitement of large-scale food service, this is your opportunity.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and coach culinary staff to execute events smoothly and efficiently
  • Step into cooking and carving responsibilities during peak service, banquets, and high-volume periods
  • Prepare key items such as sauces, proteins, and event-specific dishes
  • Ensure all banquet functions are executed on time and to specification
  • Train, assign, and direct team members while fostering a positive, supportive environment
  • Assume responsibility for the kitchen in the absence of the Room Chef
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and food regulations
  • Support a culture of superior guest service—because every event counts

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory culinary experience in a high-volume environment
  • Experience in banquets, catering, or event-based food service strongly preferred
  • Background in multi-outlet operations and high-quality production kitchens
  • Strong knowledge of food cost, menu planning, inventory, and kitchen operations
  • Proven ability to lead teams and maintain composure in fast-paced, deadline-driven settings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A leader who is organized, proactive, and detail-oriented

Why Join Us?

We’re building a culinary team where leadership is valued and growth is encouraged.

  • Competitive compensation (based on experience)
  • ️ Free meals for team members
  • Uniform provided
  • Promotions from within—we invest in your development

  • Benefits starting the first of the month
  • 401(k) plan
  • Tuition reimbursement
  • A collaborative, high-energy team environment
  • The chance to be part of memorable events and large-scale culinary execution
