Sourcing Specialist

Location: Fort Worth, TX | Fully Onsite

Pay: $20.00–$24.00/hour, DOE

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM–4:30 PM

We’re looking for a Sourcing Specialist to support a busy aviation sales team by researching requested materials, managing incoming inquiries, and ensuring accurate information is provided to the sales team.

The ideal candidate has strong customer service and communication skills, is comfortable working with Excel and computer systems, and can manage a high volume of requests while maintaining accuracy. Previous aviation experience is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and process incoming sales inquiries based on customer requirements.
• Research and source the market for requested materials.
• Manage a high volume of RFQs efficiently while meeting daily deadlines.
• Enter and maintain accurate information in Quantum, an aviation-specific ERP system.
• Utilize customer portals to enter and update information.
• Identify and assess customer and sales representative needs.
• Provide accurate and complete information to sales representatives.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
• Research information and identify alternative solutions when needed.
• Prioritize multiple requests while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Support team members while also working independently.
• Look for opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and professional email communication skills.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience working with data, including data extraction and manipulation.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests simultaneously.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable learning and navigating ERP systems and customer portals.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
• Adaptable, resourceful, and able to think quickly.

Preferred, But Not Required

• Previous experience in the aviation aftermarket industry.
• Previous sourcing, purchasing, sales support, procurement, or RFQ experience.
• Experience working within an ERP system.
• Familiarity with keyboard shortcuts and efficient data-entry techniques.
