Summary
The Sourcing Program Support Specialist provides operational and analytical support for sourcing and supplier management activities. This role is responsible for coordinating supplier-related processes, monitoring program milestones, maintaining product cost information, supporting supplier qualification activities, and ensuring accurate program tracking. The position works closely with suppliers, manufacturing teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to support program execution, delivery schedules, and overall sourcing performance.
 
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and track Request for Quote (RFQ) activities to support sourcing and procurement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure purchase order (PO) commitments and promises are accurately entered into the ERP system.
  • Monitor supplier development schedules and proactively identify potential risks that may impact delivery timelines.
  • Communicate supplier-related risks and schedule concerns to appropriate stakeholders to support timely resolution.
  • Support Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) execution and monitor supplier qualification activities.
  • Expedite supplier qualification process steps and coordinate with internal functions as needed to ensure timely completion.
  • Interface with manufacturing teams to support first-build activities and program readiness.
  • Maintain product cost information and ensure accuracy of sourcing-related financial data.
  • Prepare cost analyses, summaries, and reports to support business and program decisions.
  • Gather, maintain, and organize data related to program performance and key sourcing metrics.
  • Track program milestones and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
  • Prepare weekly reports and summaries outlining program progress, supplier activities, and performance metrics.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration between sourcing, suppliers, manufacturing, and other business teams to achieve program objectives.
 
Education Requirements
  • Relevant education and/or professional experience supporting sourcing, procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, or program management activities.
 
Experience Requirements
  • Experience coordinating RFQ processes and supplier-related activities.
  • Experience working with suppliers and maintaining procurement-related information within ERP systems.
  • Experience monitoring project schedules, supplier deliverables, or program milestones.
  • Experience supporting supplier qualification processes, including PPAP activities.
  • Experience preparing reports, analyses, and program performance summaries.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional environment supporting manufacturing, sourcing, or supply chain operations.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience supporting manufacturing or new product introduction programs.
  • Familiarity with supplier qualifications and approval processes.
  • Knowledge of sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or supplier management practices.
  • Experience preparing program metrics, dashboards, and status updates.
  • Understanding of delivery schedule management and supplier performance monitoring.
 
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $35.00 - $45.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
