    Job Overview :

    TE Connectivity's Strategic Sourcing Teams develop and implement multi-year strategies for assigned commodities, suppliers and parts/services to achieve established goals in supplier quality, delivery, price and service. And effectively involved in the transformation projects targeted towards making the existing tools and processes more efficient. They align strategy and execution with cross-functional partners such as engineering, manufacturing, product management and functional owners. Our teams demonstrate a high level of expertise in procurement competencies (business/supply chain acumen, negotiation, sourcing strategy development and execution, global savvy, and project and product lifecycle management) and ensure results are delivered compliant with TE policies and procedures.

    Roles & Responsibility:

    Vendor Master Data Management

    • Create and maintain vendor master records in SAP MDG/SAP S4 HANA.
    • Process vendor creation, modification, extension, and blocking/deactivation requests.
    • Validate vendor information for completeness and accuracy.
    • Ensure duplicate vendor prevention and perform duplicate checks.

    Contract Management

    • Support supplier contract preparation, review, renewals, amendments, approvals, and documentation in coordination with Procurement, Legal, and business stakeholders.
    • Track contract validity, expiry, key obligations, and maintain accurate contract records for compliance and audit requirements.

    Automation & Digitalization

    • Identify and support RPA, workflow automation, and other digitalization opportunities within procurement processes.
    • Collaborate with project, IT, and business teams to define requirements, support testing, implementation, and deployment of automation solutions.
    • Monitor implemented automations, provide business feedback, and support continuous improvement and process optimization.

    Policy & Process Improvement

    • Review procurement policies, SOPs, and workflows to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
    • Recommend policy and process enhancements based on business requirements, audit findings, compliance needs, and global best practices.
    • Support implementation of approved policy/process changes.

    Data Analysis & Reporting: Vendor master data relating reporting as MIS. For Analyzing trends, preparing KPI reports and assisting the team for workflow management.

    Desired Candidate Profile:

    Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

    3+ years of experience in procurement, Procurement Finance, supply chain, or a related field (internship experience accepted).

    Work experience in SAP and managing vendor Master data

    Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

    Effective written and verbal communication skills.

    Preferred Skills:

    Familiarity with procurement best practices and industry trends.

    Proficiency in SAP, MDG & Power BI

    Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint and SharePoint management.
