This position supports individual sourcing projects and/or a set of assigned commodities by deploying best practices, procurement tools and negotiation skills.Also, assists in contract execution, implementation and supplier reviews for assigned contracts.\n \nThe Sourcing Specialist works collaboratively and proactively to identify process, sourcing and contract improvement opportunities.\n \nYour day-to-day\n\n Source suppliers, and may assist with bid evaluations, cost analyses, price justification, and risk assessment of suppliers. \n May assist with supplier negotiations on new procurements or changes to existing purchase orders. \n May drafs purchase orders and agreements for approval by the Sourcing & Commodity Manager. \n Coordinate and participate in supplier meetings.\n \nWe are looking for talent with\n\n 4 year college degree Supply Chain management or relevant discipline. \n Experience and/or exposure to supply chain concepts and methodologies, and manufacturing through internships or training programs. \n Possess analytical and technical skills required to understand business practices and recommend proper automation opportunities. \n Must have intermediate computer skills and be able to understand of electronic processing. \n* Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts.\n \nParker Hannifin \n \nParker Hannifin is a Fortune 250 global leader in motion and control technologies.
