Job Description:

Role is 100% remote

Pacific/Central/Mountain time zones are preferred

At least 7 years of strategic sourcing experience required. (10+ years is preferred).

Experience in Indirect Procurement is strongly preferred; candidates with Marketing experience are especially encouraged to apply. This role will support the Marketing Procurement Group.

Responsibilities will include leading sourcing activities of moderate complexity and providing support for complex or strategic initiatives. Lead end-to-end sourcing processes including requirements gathering, RFP/RFI development, proposal evaluation, scenario analysis, supplier selection, and contract drafting, negotiation and execution to deliver optimal value and terms.

Role is responsible for executing main service agreements, statements of work, letter agreements, and order forms.

  • Define commodity and supplier strategies.
  • Adopt best-practice commodity management and strategic sourcing processes
  • Track category performance relative to targets and conduct supplier reviews for assigned suppliers.
  • Communicate clearly with procurement leadership, business stakeholders and team about strategies, contracts, and project updates.

Provide support for highly complex or strategic initiatives; assigned tasks may include:

  • Analyze supply market and current supply base.
  • Build business case.
  • Build RFx and auction.
  • Negotiate contract provisions.
  • Track and report category performance against targets - On-board suppliers.
  • Conduct supplier performance reviews.
  • Monitor contract execution
  • Identify and recommend future sourcing opportunities.

Skills to have to be successful: Leveraged AI-powered procurement tools, spend analytics, and market intelligence to generate insights, identify savings opportunities, and support data-driven sourcing decisions. Strong analytical skills and competency with Excel are required.
