Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead strategic sourcing initiatives from project charter through supplier recommendation.
Gather requirements from cross-functional business and technical stakeholders.
Conduct supplier research and market intelligence.
Identify and evaluate prospective suppliers.
Develop and manage RFP, RFQ, and RFI processes.
Analyze supplier proposals, capabilities, pricing, and commercial considerations.
Perform cost, financial, and total-cost-of-ownership analysis.
Develop presentations and recommendations supporting supplier-selection decisions.
Role Requirements
Demonstrated strategic sourcing or sourcing-management experience.
Hands-on experience participating in formal sourcing events.
Experience managing RFP, RFQ, or RFI processes.
Experience gathering requirements from cross-functional stakeholders.
Strong supplier identification and evaluation capabilities.
Experience analyzing supplier proposals and pricing.
Strong financial and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Strong stakeholder-management and relationship-building skills.
Ability to independently organize and drive a project forward.
Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical-device, or broader life sciences sourcing experience.
CDMO or contract-manufacturing experience.
Experience within GMP or another regulated environment.
