The Stamford JCC Performing Arts Department is seekinga passionate and talented individual to join the production team of our SPRING MUSICAL as SOUND BOARD OPERATOR. The SoundBoard Op will mix microphonelevels and execute sound cues/backing tracksforSingin' in the Rain JR.during thetech, dress rehearsal,andperformanceon APRIL 18 & 19, 2026.
Minimum Qualifications:Responsibilities:
Operatethe sound board during techand the performance, manage microphone levels, and execute licensedsound cues/backing tracks.
Be available for all of tech (4/18/26) and the performance (4/19/26) inStamford, CT
Tech our show (run time: approx. 60 minutes) in 8 hours.
Have patience and a good attitude (working with children!)
Have one preliminary meeting with the production team
Qualifications:
Experience working with school-aged students preferred
3 years of professional experience or proficient undergraduate experience
Proficiency insound control systems
Must have experience managing microphone volume levels and mixing to produce high sound quality during performance
Ability to liaise in a professional manner with performers and crew
Available all-dayApril 18-19,2026
Salary:
Salary begins at $500; additionalcompensation commensuratewith experience.
