Description
Sonographer/Ultrasound Technologist - FT/80
- Full-time and permanent hire
The Sonographer will:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures.
- Perform daily check of work area.
- Performs department ancillary functions.
- Provide education to patients and families.
- Maintain professionalism and qualities consistent with an ultrasound technologist.
- Demonstrate the minimum knowledge, skills and abilities for age specific patient populations.
Requirements
- Graduate of a school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography or proven competence through on-the-job training and specialized courses.
- Must have a knowledge base and experience to work independently
- American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ADRMS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
Salary Range: The base rate for this position is $40.00 - $48.76 per hour. The hourly range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the position.
