    As a Sonographer, you are a vital member of the healthcare team, delivering precise diagnostic imaging that directly impacts patient care and clinical decision-making. Your expertise in performing a broad spectrum of ultrasound procedures ensures accurate, timely, and high-quality imaging for a variety of medical conditions. You will combine technical proficiency with empathy and professionalism to support patients through every step of their diagnostic journey. This role emphasizes patient-centered care, collaboration with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams, and strict adherence to safety, regulatory, and quality standards. Your work plays a key role in advancing diagnostic accuracy and improving health outcomes across the communities we serve.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform comprehensive ultrasound examinations across multiple specialties, including abdominal, obstetric (OB), vascular, neonatal, pelvic, breast, testicular, and small parts imaging
    • Ensure all imaging studies are conducted with precision, efficiency, and clinical relevance to support accurate radiologist interpretation
    • Prioritize patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout every procedure
    • Operate, calibrate, and maintain ultrasound equipment in compliance with departmental and manufacturer standards
    • Collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to optimize diagnostic outcomes
    • Uphold all applicable regulatory, infection control, and safety protocols in accordance with institutional and industry guidelines

    Requirements

    Requirements:
    • Current state license in good standing (if applicable)
    • Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) program
    • ARRT or DMS certification required
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
