Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive ultrasound examinations across multiple specialties, including abdominal, obstetric (OB), vascular, neonatal, pelvic, breast, testicular, and small parts imaging
Ensure all imaging studies are conducted with precision, efficiency, and clinical relevance to support accurate radiologist interpretation
Prioritize patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout every procedure
Operate, calibrate, and maintain ultrasound equipment in compliance with departmental and manufacturer standards
Collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to optimize diagnostic outcomes
Uphold all applicable regulatory, infection control, and safety protocols in accordance with institutional and industry guidelines
Requirements
Requirements:
Current state license in good standing (if applicable)
Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) program
ARRT or DMS certification required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
