Job Overview
This is a professional and strategic job responsible for partnering with business liaisons and technical teams to establish multi-platform hardware/software solutions for enterprise application systems. The Solutions Engineer performs capacity and performance planning. The Solutions Engineer manages complex global, enterprise technology projects involving technology systems analysis, development, coordination, implementation, and documentation according to established project management methodology. The incumbent in this job will provide advanced technical support for information systems. The Solutions Engineer works independently, with limited supervision. Problems faced are difficult and often complex.
Salary
Hiring Range (annual) $82,804 - $110,000
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for the Solutions Engineer position possesses a proven background in technical troubleshooting, workflow process design, stakeholder engagement, and advanced knowledge of Customer Information Systems (CIS) used for billing utility customers, specifically Oracle Customer Cloud Services (CCS).
The ideal candidate can multitask and track multiple projects concurrently from inception to completion and are comfortable managing a small team. They have an advanced knowledge of SQL, Groovy, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), SOAP/REST integration protocols, Postman, SFTP/SSH, and Azure DevOps. Overall, the ideal candidate will need to be an adept problem solver with strong communication skills to succeed in a demanding technical support role for the Hillsborough County Water Resources Department.t.
