    Description

    The Solutions Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing technical solutions that align with business objectives. This role bridges the gap between business requirements and technical capabilities: ensuring that solutions are scalable, reliable, and efficient down to implementation.

    Job Responsibilities

    Technical Leadership

    • Designing and architecting complex software systems.

    • Ensuring adherence to SDLC, IT policies and standards, industry best practices

    • Oversee development of Solutions from inception to release

    • Ensure regulatory compliance for solutions that are crafted

    • Develop comprehensive technical architectures for new products, features, or systems

    • Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, platforms, and frameworks

    • Ensure that solutions adhere to best practices, standards, and guidelines

    • Create detailed technical designs, including data models, system diagrams, and component specifications

    • Provide guidance to development teams on implementation details

    • Review and approve technical designs

    • Identify and troubleshoot technical issues

    IT Project Management

    • Plan and manage software development projects, ensuring they meet deadlines

    • Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define requirements and prioritize features

    • Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from design to deployment

    Role Requirements

    Core Competencies

    • In-depth experience of Agile software Development • Experience with software architecture design and system integration

    • Hands-on experience on working on distributed systems and microservices

    • Experience with Stakeholder management

    • Experience with software architecture design and system integration

    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

    • Hands-on experience in building application pipeline

    • Hands-on experience in coaching and leading a small team of engineers

    • Knowledge in core banking systems is a plus (ThoughtMachine, Oradian)

    Qualifications

    • Graduate of any 4 year IT related course

    • At least 6 years total working experience

    • Working experience in financial or banking industries

    • Good to have: AWS SA, or any devOps Certification
