They are seeking a Solutions Architect to serve as a key technical leader responsible for designing and governing the architecture of their business application ecosystem, from ERP and integrations to Industry 4.0 initiatives. This is a high-visibility, strategic role for someone who thrives at the intersection of business complexity and enterprise technology.
Responsibilities
Design and document end-to-end solutions for major business initiatives and contribute to the IT strategic roadmap by evaluating emerging technologies
Serve as the technical authority for core ERP modules including Finance and Controlling, Warehouse and Materials Management, and Manufacturing
Architect Application-to-Application (A2A) integration patterns within the Boomi platform, ensuring integrations are reliable, scalable, and maintainable
Define and execute the architectural strategy for integrating ERP with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), mapping critical data flows for production, materials, quality, and confirmations
Collaborate with business stakeholders to govern how Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes integrate with the enterprise, and champion Master Data Management (MDM) principles
Drive Industry 4.0 initiatives by identifying opportunities in IoT, digital twin technology, AI/ML in manufacturing, and advanced analytics
Define and implement architectural standards, patterns, and best practices; lead architectural reviews and application portfolio rationalization
Partner with other Solution Architects and cross-functional IT teams to ensure technical cohesion and alignment with the overall enterprise roadmap
Skills & Requirements
Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of related experience; 5+ years in a solution or enterprise architect role preferred
Deep functional and technical knowledge of a Tier-1 ERP system (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) in a manufacturing environment
Demonstrated experience designing and implementing A2A integrations using an iPaaS platform; Boomi experience strongly preferred
Strong understanding of integration points and data exchange between PLM, ERP, and MES platforms
Solid knowledge of PLM concepts and the critical role of Master Data Management across the enterprise
Ability to translate complex technical and business requirements into clear architectural guidance for executive leadership
Excellent communication and documentation skills, including architectural diagrams and formal specifications
Exposure to Industry 4.0 concepts (Industrial IoT, Digital Twin, Predictive Maintenance) preferred
Experience with Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF preferred
Experience with EA management platforms such as LeanIX or Signavio preferred
