Work you'll do

The Solutions Architect Contractor will support the Supply Chain & Network Operations team by translating manufacturing business requirements into scalable Siemens Opcenter Core solutions. This contractor will collaborate with client stakeholders and functional teams across solution design, implementation, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and document MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) business requirements with client stakeholders.
  • Translate requirements into scalable technical and functional solution designs.
  • Design Siemens Opcenter Core architectures, including configuration, integration, deployment, and upgrades.
  • Support fit-gap analysis, process design, data mapping, technical specifications, and system documentation.
  • Participate in testing, deployment, cutover, and post-go-live support activities.
  • Provide guidance on MES capabilities, implementation approaches, and manufacturing transformation opportunities.
  • Collaborate with functional workstream representatives, technical teams, and client stakeholders.
  • Apply manufacturing analytics and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Contribute reusable assets, lessons learned, and knowledge-sharing materials.
  • Support delivery across onsite, remote, and offshore teams.
  • Maintain high-quality work products and meet project deadlines.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 7 years of MES experience, including 5 years implementing Apriso, Siemens Opcenter, or AVEVA solutions.
  • At least 5 years of experience with: Business requirements gathering, Fit-gap analysis, Functional process design, Data mapping, Functional and technical specifications, System configuration, Testing and deployment, Customer support, Process documentation, Onsite/offshore delivery models
  • Experience using analytics and metrics to evaluate manufacturing performance and quantify improvement opportunities.
  • Experience supporting at least two MES implementations and defining system architecture.
  • Ability to travel approximately 50%, depending on project and client requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to build effective professional relationships.
  • Ability to mentor team members and provide clear guidance on assigned work.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Three or more years of experience with Apriso, Siemens Opcenter, or AVEVA platforms.
  • Consulting or client-service experience.
  • Certification in Apriso, Siemens Opcenter, or AVEVA.
  • Experience presenting technical concepts to business and technical audiences.
  • Experience coordinating project activities and assigned workstreams in a client-service environment.

The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $100 - $110 hour. The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.
