Solutions Analyst Classification Exempt Job Summary The Solutions Analyst will focus on configuring and building solutions on top of our business platforms and tools, extending their functionality to meet evolving needs across the sales organization. This role emphasizes hands-on solution building — configuring platform features, writing light automation, and integrating data — rather than long-form process discovery and documentation. The Analyst will need to quickly learn new platforms and apply technical judgment to implement working solutions, reporting to the Director of Digital Process Automation and serving as a technical bridge between business stakeholders and IT. This role plays a key part in the company's digital transformation initiatives, contributing hands-on configuration and lightweight development work to streamline business processes. Essential Functions - Solution Configuration: Configure and customize features, workflows, and automations within business platforms (e.g., CRM and sales lifecycle management tools) to meet defined requirements.
- Platform Learning & Application: Quickly learn new or unfamiliar platforms, applying technical judgment to configure solutions using available tools, low-code/no-code builders, and APIs.
- Scripting & Automation: Write basic scripts in Python or PowerShell to automate repetitive tasks, data transfers, and reporting.
- Data Integration Support: Assist with integrating and transforming data across systems, including working with data warehousing platforms such as Databricks.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve configuration and platform issues, escalating complex problems to the Enterprise Architect or IT as needed.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Translate business requirements from stakeholders into configured, working solutions, and keep configurations documented for maintainability.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to extend or improve platform configurations as business needs evolve.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent practical experience (bootcamp, self-taught projects) will also be considered.
- 0-2 years of experience building or configuring solutions on business software platforms (CRM, workflow tools, or similar systems).
- Basic proficiency in Python or PowerShell for scripting and automating data tasks.
- Exposure to data warehousing platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new platforms and tools independently and apply them to solve business problems.
- Familiarity with APIs and basic data integration concepts is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on, build-first mindset.
- Effective communicator, able to translate business requirements into technical configuration.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to clean, maintainable configuration and documentation.
