Job Description:

What You'll Be Doing:

This senior-level outside sales role targets medium to large CRE businesses, building a robust pipeline, and driving new growth for the business. The role involves owning the full sales cycle to drive the sale of solutions and services to new clients and achieving assigned revenue objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Research and identify new business opportunities, engage prospective clients, and identify relevant products, solutions, and services to meet customer needs.

  • Strategic Planning: Plan, prioritize, and execute discussions with prospects.

  • Relationship Management: Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers, approvers, and influencers, developing and executing sales strategies through a defined sales plan.

  • Strategic Advisory: Develop a deep understanding of clients' business needs and align Cotality commercial tax capabilities to identify opportunities and act as a strategic advisor.

  • Sales Operations: Provide accurate and timely sales activity reports; actively manage the pipeline via tools provided in Salesforce SharePoint, CRM, and Excel.

Leadership & Focus

The role requires experience and strong industry connections with commercial real estatelenders, bankers, REITs, owners, or other investor firms. The Solutions Sales Director will build relationships with new clients, focusing heavily on landing new logos within three key areas of commercial real estate:

Lenders and Banking

Owners, REITs, Private Equity, and other Investors

Commercial Servicers

Job Qualifications:

  • Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) plus 8+ years of direct sales experience.

  • Solution Selling: 5 years of experience in a solutions sales role with a proven track record of closing transactions with a prop tech company, real estate data and analytics provider, or related commercial real estate company.

  • Industry Expertise:10+ years of experience in commercial real estate in a senior-level client director role.

  • Network: Strong industry connections within commercial real estate (lending/banking, REIT, retail, and franchise).

  • Track Record: Demonstrated ability to acquire new customer relationships and exceed individual sales targets.

  • Skills: * Strong influencing and negotiation skills.

  • Consultative and collaborative style.

  • Analytical mindset and independent decision-making capabilities
