Job Responsibilities:

_The role of Solution Manger, Inventory and Warehousing within ADM Global Supply Chain Excellence is a high level individual contributor role responsible for monitoring, optimizing, designing, and driving the global warehouse network to reduce costs, increase flexibility/efficiency, and support future business growth. This person will have a significant role in delivering value generating initiatives that will require the design and implementation of site specific, and enterprise-wide solutions that enable and support current and forward-looking/multi-year Global Supply Chain strategy. This person will responsible for enhancing global inventory management and warehouse execution processes, supporting finance driven costing initiatives, automation opportunities, along with bulk and packaged inventory management compliance. Lead/support key projects alongside Global Technology for ERP’s & Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) investments/enhancements, support large business unit segment initiatives with key focus areas such as inventory cycle counting, physical inventory, reconciliations, etc. The Solution Manager will drive the warehouse management systems strategy across NA, SA, LATAM, EMEA & APAC in partnership with Global Technology and Supply Chain leadership. All solutions will be formed based on cross functional collaboration and considerations with several internal departments within ADM’s three business units – Nutrition, Ag Services & Oilseeds and Carbohydrate Solutions._


Required Skills:


+ _Consult/lead business process analysis to understand the needs of the warehouse organization and enterprise, ultimately translating those needs into clear recommendations and solutions for stakeholders._

+ _WMS & ERP Product leadership – in alignment with Global Technology, define and communicate the product vision, strategy and roadmap for inventory and warehousing systems to give the business maximum capabilities_

+ _Support the deployment and execution of continuous improvement programs and all related methodologies to enhance efficiencies with internal and external 3PL warehousing and distribution operations._

+ _Lead key meetings and workshops with necessary stakeholders_

+ _Utilizes broad and deep knowledge of inventory and warehouse management to develop innovative new business practices, enhanced policies, procedures, equipment utilization, data/analytics modeling, etc._

+ _Leverages artificial intelligence (AI) to support development of alternative solutions to management inventory and warehouse operations_


+ _Ensure warehouse system functionality is configured to optimize performance (e.g. warehouse management, resource management, slotting, and reporting applications etc.)._

+ _Understand the balances, purpose, impact, and drive disposition of excess inventory within the network alongside regional supply chain teams._

+ _Assesses warehouse capacity utilization and coordinates corrective actions with cross functional groups_

+ _Interfaces across cross-functional teams to establish and boost alignment and synergy, gaining buy-in from stakeholders and leading the implementation of initiatives within the warehouse functions_

+ _Develops and presents proposed global strategy initiatives which could be implemented across all ADM business units or specific business unit segments_

+ _Thinks globally and acts locally_

+ _Applies ADM standard process mapping techniques to support Warehouse Management System initiatives and business transformation projects_

+ _Provides regular updates to Global Supply Chain leadership to highlight accomplishments, risks/issues, and overall progress of assigned initiatives_

+ _Proactive member of ADM’s Inventory COE/Community of Practice_

+ _Analyzes cost and business impact of current state and future state warehouse processes (internal and external 3PL)_

+ _Contributes to cross department/sector projects as a subject matter expert_

+ _Collaborates directly with the organizational change management team ensuring proper communication and implementation of system enhancements_

+ _Works in partnership with 3PL Warehouse Procurement team members to drive implementation of new warehouses or divestiture from existing 3PL’s_

+ _Ensure master data governance principles support inventory and warehouse operations integrity_

+ _Confirm the solution is truly business-oriented by advocating for the team and understanding needs of the users_

+ _Ability to drive consensus and resolve conflicts across multiple parties with conflicting views on system solutions_

+ _Confirm Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) is sustainable for the project_

+ _Familiarize with requirements gathering techniques implemented through the Global Technology department_

+ _Demonstrates expertise of the project management initiating, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling, and closing processes_

+ _Build strategic partnerships and relationships—Builds strategic alliances and partnerships within, and outside the organization, to collaboratively execute business strategies_

+ _Operate directly with ADM Risk & Controls, Internal Audit, Finance, Accounting and Operations to ensure compliance with inventory and warehousing policies_

+ _Works independently or as part of a team_


Education Requirements:


+ _Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred_

+ _7+ years of experience in related field including but not limited to warehouse operations, inventory management, supply chain, distribution, logistics, transportation, manufacturing, sourcing, operational excellence, etc._


Required Experience:


+ _Experience with ERP design and implementations_

+ _Experience with design and execution of WMS software applications_

+ _Experience with Global Trade/Customs is a plus_

+ _Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics or equivalent experience_

+ _Practical experience with continuous improvement methodologies_

+ _Requires superior analytical thinking, ability to understand complex data, diving deep through various information sources and working closely with key division stakeholders and local operations teams to rapidly iterate and deliver solutions_

+ _Ability to analyze and streamline business processes_

+ _Experience in driving customer needs, being proactive and understanding customer requirements ahead of time_

+ _Ability to train others and be trained on new processes_

+ _Cross functional experience in a large organization, multi-national, fast paced industry_

+ _Can observe and proactively respond to people and situations and interact with others encountered in the course of work_

+ _Can learn and apply new information or skills_

+ _Must be able to read and interpret data, information, and documents_

+ _Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction through prioritization, quality, efficiency and professionalism_

+ _Ability to complete assignments with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy_

+ _Proven ability to perform effectively in a demanding environment with evolving processes driven by continuous improvement_

+ _Project management experience preferred_

+ _Familiarity with Warehouse automation technologies, RF scanning systems, inventory visibility platforms, supply chain analytics tools, API and system integrations/interfacing_

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
