Your Role
Akkodis is seeking a Solution Architect for a Contract job with a client in San Francisco, CA (Hybrid). The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in Baan 5 architecture, technical development, and functional processes, along with experience leading ERP migration and company setup initiatives.
Rate Range: $92/hour to $95/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Solution Architect job responsibilities include:
Lead the creation and implementation of new Baan 5 company environments and associated solution architecture.
Provide both functional and technical expertise across Baan 5 modules and business processes.
Design and oversee data migration activities, working closely with Informatica and integration teams to ensure data quality and successful conversion.
Configure and support Exchange Scheme imports, company setup, integration frameworks, and interface development.
Validate migrated data and system functionality through System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Cutover, and Warranty Support phases.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership to translate requirements into scalable and deliverable solutions.
Lead solution architecture discussions and provide guidance on integration patterns, migration strategies, and system optimization.
Desired Qualifications:
Minimum 5+ years of experience with Baan 5 / Infor ERP solutions.
Strong hands-on expertise in:
Baan 5 Functional Configuration
Baan 5 Technical Development
Company Setup & Configuration
Exchange Scheme Imports
Data Migration & Validation
ERP Integration Design
Experience supporting full ERP implementation, migration, upgrade, or transformation projects.
Strong understanding of functional business processes within manufacturing, supply chain, finance, or ERP environments.
Expertise in Requirements Analysis and solution design.
Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor project teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ETL and Data Migration tools, including Informatica.
Knowledge of integration and exchange patterns between ERP and enterprise applications.
Experience with Infor OS and related Infor technologies.
Exposure to enterprise application modernization and migration initiatives.
Previous experience serving as a lead architect or ERP solution lead.

Pay Details: $92.00 to $95.00 per hour
