Akkodis is seeking a Solution Architect for a Contract with a client in Detroit, MI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable cloud solutions that align with business objectives while ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient application delivery.
Rate Range: $41/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Solution Architect Job Responsibilities include:
Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud architectures on AWS, Azure, or GCP to support business applications and digital transformation initiatives.
Collaborate with development, operations, and business teams to define cloud strategies, architecture standards, and technical solutions aligned with organizational goals.
Implement DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, infrastructure automation, and cloud deployment processes.
Manage project timelines, deliverables, and technical documentation while ensuring successful execution of cloud initiatives in Agile environments.
Provide technical guidance to stakeholders by translating complex cloud concepts into clear business-focused recommendations and solutions.
Continuously evaluate and improve cloud architecture, operational processes, security practices, and cloud governance frameworks to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cloud Computing, Engineering, or a related technical field. Cloud certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP are highly preferred.
6-8 years of experience in Cloud Architecture, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Design within enterprise environments.
Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), cloud architecture design, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable cloud solutions, along with strong communication, stakeholder management, and Agile project delivery skills.

Pay Details: $41.00 to $56.00 per hour
