Located in La Vista, NE, our manufacturing company is looking for a talented individual to join our dynamic team and support our engineering initiatives. You will leverage your expertise to craft and refine detailed electro-mechanical designs using advanced software tools such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD. A successful candidate should be adept at managing engineering change orders and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance design and manufacturing processes.

In your role, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy. Your job will involve working closely with our Application Engineering team, creating innovative design proposals to meet evolving client needs. Additionally, you will suggest efficient manufacturing and assembly methodologies, thereby supporting the team’s commitment to excellence.

**Responsibilities Include:**
- Crafting and refining electro-mechanical designs with SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Managing and documenting engineering change orders (ECOs).
- Determining precise tolerances for parts and assemblies in line with industry standards.
- Completing comprehensive final drawings, ensuring accuracy in dimensions and materials.
- Developing design solutions in collaboration with the Application Engineering team.
- Interpreting and implementing industry regulatory codes.
- Providing essential engineering support to the production floor and aiding in error identification and resolution.

**Qualifications:**
- Associate degree in Mechanical Design, Electrical Design, or a similar technical discipline with 3-7 years of direct experience.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks and AutoCAD (2018 or later versions).
- Strong grasp of manufacturing principles and engineering fundamentals.
- Experience in mechanical and/or electrical systems is advantageous.
- Detail-oriented with the capacity to handle practical engineering challenges.
