Join a leading manufacturing facility in Walhalla, SC, as a Soldering Technician on 1st shift! 
The Soldering Technician will work as part of a production line, following detailed diagrams and using small handheld tools to solder components for electronic assemblies. This position requires careful application of heat to low melting point metals to create secure joins and electrical connections, ensuring products meet quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret assembly diagrams and technical drawings
  • Use soldering equipment to assemble and connect electronic components
  • Inspect soldered joints for quality and adherence to specifications
  • Maintain soldering tools and equipment in proper working order
  • Follow safety procedures and use appropriate PPE
  • Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth production flow
  • Report any defects, damaged parts, or equipment issues to supervisor
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous soldering experience preferred (manufacturing or electronics)
  • Steady hand and excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to read and follow technical diagrams
  • Experience with small hand tools and soldering equipment
  • Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
