About the Role:Bozeman Green Build Inc is looking for a driven and knowledgeable Solar PV Technical Sales professional to join our growing team in beautiful Bozeman, MT. This is your chance to combine your passion for renewable energy with your sales expertise, helping homeowners and businesses make the switch to clean, cost-saving solar power.
Responsibilities:- Conduct in-home and commercial site assessments to evaluate solar PV system feasibility
- Design and present customized solar energy proposals tailored to client needs and energy goals
- Educate prospective customers on solar PV technology, financing options, and ROI
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and consultation through contract signing
- Collaborate with installation crews to ensure seamless project handoff and customer satisfaction
- Stay current on solar incentives, net metering policies, and Montana utility programs
- Build and maintain a referral network through strong client relationships and community engagement
Requirements:- Experience in solar PV sales, renewable energy, or a related technical sales field
- Solid understanding of solar PV systems, components, and installation processes
- Familiarity with solar design tools such as Aurora, Helioscope, or similar platforms
- Strong communication and consultative selling skills
- Ability to read and interpret utility bills, site plans, and basic electrical diagrams
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage a pipeline and meet sales targets
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client site visits
