Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to support commercial solar installation projects across Western New York. This role focuses on electrical wiring, conduit work, panel terminations, and ensuring all solar electrical systems meet NEC, NYS, and company standards. The ideal candidate has strong commercial or industrial electrical experience and thrives in a fast‑paced construction environment.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Install, terminate, and test electrical wiring for commercial solar systems
  • Run conduit, pull wire, and complete panel terminations according to NEC standards
  • Assist with layout and installation of racking, modules, and BOS components
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and site plans
  • Perform troubleshooting and repairs on solar electrical components
  • Conduct safety checks and maintain compliance with OSHA requirements
  • Collaborate with Foremen and Project Managers to meet project timelines
  • Maintain accurate documentation of electrical work performed
  • Operate lifts, hand tools, and electrical testing equipment safely

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience
  • Strong understanding of NEC and electrical safety practices
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation
  • Experience with conduit bending, wire pulling, and panel terminations
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • OSHA‑10 required; OSHA‑30 preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Skills

  • Experience with PV systems, inverters, and commissioning
  • Familiarity with solar electrical components and BOS systems
  • Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
