Job Summary

Energo is seeking a positive, goal-oriented Solar Canvasser to join our team as a 1099 Independent Contractor, reporting to the Vice President, Solar division. We are looking for driven individuals who want to break into solar sales or build on existing door-to-door experience. Duties and Responsibilities

As a Solar Canvasser, you will be on the frontlines of lead generation and face-to-face customer interaction. Your primary duties will be knocking on doors, setting appointments on the spot, and collecting customer information such as name, phone number, email, length of time in the residence, and a copy of their current electric bill. Your main goal is to present homeowners with a clean, renewable alternative to their current power bill - solar.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Use public platforms to generate qualified solar appointments
• Canvass assigned territories door-to-door to generate leads and set appointments
• Use call, email, text, and other communications to identify the validity and potential of the customer
• Door-to-door lead generation and D2D appointment setting
• Represent the company in an esteemed and professional manner
• Learn to operate a sales app that tracks your whereabouts, location, and doors knocked
• Become proficient in how solar works
• Recruit, train and lead additional appointment setters while earning commissions off their appointments
• Hold team members accountable to performance goals
• Work closely with management to grow the New York market

Position Requirements

Job Requirements

• Door-to-door solar sales experience preferred, but not required - full training provide
• Self-motivated and driven individuals who can work in any weather or environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Read and write English
• Minimum 5 to 7 hours per day knocking on doors
• Thick skin (not afraid to hear 50 no's per day or get doors slammed in your face)

Compensation

As a 1099 Independent Contractor, you will earn an advance of $600.00 per week against commissions.

Unlimited earning potential as commissions are not capped.
