    Job Title: Software Test Engineer Embedded Systems
    Location: Trumbull, CT
    Work Arrangement: Onsite
    Experience Level: 3 5 Years
    Pay rate: $40-$48/hr on W2

    Skills: Embedded software and hardware testing, system and integration testing, C/C++ debugging, board programming and firmware, test script development, electronic test fixtures, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis, preferably within the medical device or other regulated industries.

    Job Summary:
    Seeking a Software Test Engineer with strong embedded software and hardware testing experience to support system-level testing and validation of medical device products.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform system and component-level testing of embedded products.
    • Track software versions and perform board programming/firmware updates.
    • Develop and maintain automated/manual test scripts.
    • Build, maintain, and troubleshoot electronic test fixtures.
    • Debug embedded systems and C code.
    • Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
    • Collaborate with Software, Hardware, and Quality teams.
    • Document test procedures, results, and validation activities.

    Required Skills:

    • Embedded software/hardware testing
    • System & integration testing
    • C/C++ debugging
    • Board programming / firmware
    • Test script development
    • Electronic test fixtures
    • Troubleshooting & root cause analysis
    • Medical device or regulated industry experience preferred
