Mercury Systems is seeking a recent college graduate to join our Rotational Engineering Program, a dynamic opportunity to develop cutting-edge technology that supports the American Warfighter. Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing on hardware and firmware/software/systems
- Document test results, defects, and anomalies in tracking systems
- Support automation testing efforts and script development
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate test case development and automation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, development, and qualification
- Analyze test data and prepare reports on findings
- Maintain and calibrate test equipment as needed
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor''s or master''s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related technical field obtained between May 2026 and June 2027
- A minimum GPA of 3.1. You will be asked to submit your transcripts during the review process
- Prior Co-Op or internship experience
- Coursework or project experience in software testing methodologies
- Familiarity with programming languages (Python, C#, Bash, Java, or similar languages)
- Experience with AI development tools (e.g., Claude Code, OpenCode, VScode, or similar)
- Foundational understanding of electronics, embedded systems, and board‑level hardware
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, datasheets, and engineering requirements
- Experience using standard lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, signal generators)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with test automation and scripting
- Knowledge of version control systems and software collaboration tools such as GitLab, BitBucket, Jenkins, Docker
- Understanding of product development lifecycles
- Experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators)
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Previous internship or co-op experience in engineering
- Exposure to data analysis or data logging using Excel, SQL, or similar
- Experience presenting technical information to technical and non-technical stakeholders
