Job Details

This entry-level Systems Engineer role is focused on software integration, testing, validation, and troubleshooting for the U.S. Navy's Undersea Warfare Decision Support System (UWD-DSS) team. You’ll work hands-on with integrated software, execute test and regression activities, document results, and help identify and isolate issues within the system.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of software engineering experience and exposure to Agile development and DevOps practices. This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys understanding how software works as a complete system and wants to build a career in systems integration and test.

· Integrate and test software within the system environment
· Support software integration, validation, and DevOps lifecycle activities
· Execute functional and regression testing
· Identify software defects and document issues
· Troubleshoot system and integration problems
· Isolate and document issues for resolution by the appropriate engineering team
· Support software verification and validation activities
· Document test procedures, results, failures, and findings

Required Skills:
1–3 years of software engineering or related technical experience
· Exposure to software integration and system testing
· Exposure to Agile software development
· Familiarity with DevOps concepts and software lifecycle processes
· Experience working with Linux and Windows environments
· RHEL experience
· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
· Ability to follow technical procedures and accurately document results
· Ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional engineering team
· Active Secret security clearance required
· U.S. citizenship required for clearance
