DPP is seeking a
Software Quality Engineer III for an opportunity with our client in the Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing industry.
Work location: Onsite in Huntsville, AL
Duration: 4 months
Terms: W2 Contract
Work authorization: US Citizen; must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance
Responsibilities: - Develop, modify, apply, and maintain standards for software quality operating methods, processes, systems and procedures.
- Conduct software inspection, testing, verification and validation.
- Implement software development and maintenance processes and methods.
- Ensure measures meet acceptable reliability standards.
- Develop overall operating criteria to ensure implementation of the software quality program according to project, process and contract requirements and objectives.
- Ensure that project and process control documentation are compliant with requirements, objectives and/or contract.
- Review software design, change specifications, and plans against contractual and/or process requirements.
- Reviews include applicable specifications, materials, tools, techniques, and methodologies.
- Perform or direct verification of software requirement allocations, traceability, and testability.
- Verify hardware in accordance with applicable Technical Data Packages (TDP).
- Verify connections according to applicable Interface Control Documents (ICD).
- Verify remove and replace activities of Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) that impact the system’s configuration.
- Verify Operating Infrastructure Versions (OIV), Fire Control Network (FCN), Hardware (HW), IBCS application Software (SW), system name and location, and hard drive Document Control Number (DCN).
- Support hardware integration activities and events.
- Assist Configuration Management with configuration status accounting of the labs.
- Support internal process compliance audits.
