Software Quality Analyst
Location: Memphis, TN
Duration: 12 months (Onsite)
Job Summary
Seeking for an Software Quality Analyst to ensure the quality, reliability, and functionality of software applications. The role involves analyzing requirements, developing test strategies, executing various types of testing, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the SDLC.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze business and technical requirements and develop test strategies and test cases.
- Perform functional, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Identify, document, track, and troubleshoot software defects.
- Investigate issues using application logs, API payloads, and other diagnostic information.
- Participate in requirements reviews, test planning, release validation, and production support.
- Collaborate with Product, Development, Deployment, and Support teams.
- Improve test coverage, automation, and overall QA/QE processes.
- Assess quality risks and support release-readiness decisions.
Qualifications:
- Experience in software QA, testing, or Quality Engineering.
- Strong experience with functional, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with test planning, defect management, and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of SDLC and Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with test automation and API testing tools is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
