Job Description

This role supports migration initiative from a quality perspective. The focus is primarily on manual testing, test planning, defect analysis, validation, and quality assurance processes, while also helping the team increase automation coverage over time. Testing will support voice self-service use cases related to billing, payments, appointments, outages, and related customer-service flows.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain test plans, test cases, and quality acceptance criteria.
• Execute manual and automated testing across assigned products, including voice and conversational AI applications.
• Perform API testing and validation testing, and run SQL queries to validate application data and test results.
• Conduct functional, regression, UAT, and business UAT testing.
• Analyze defects, root causes, trends, and quality metrics; support defect triage and resolution with development teams.
• Maintain test artifacts and documentation within Jira, Confluence, and Lucid (call-flow documentation).
• Validate releases against quality and acceptance criteria before deployment.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
• Drive improvements to test coverage, quality reporting, release readiness, testing practices, tools, and frameworks.
• Contribute to ongoing test automation initiatives in partnership with Software Quality Engineers.

Required Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated experience in software quality assurance or testing, with strong manual testing experience.
• Experience performing API testing.
• SQL skills for data validation and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of test planning, defect tracking, and quality processes.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence / Lucid.
• Test automation experience (Selenium, Playwright, etc.).
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills; comfortable working with engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
• Ability to independently deliver test planning and analysis without detailed direction.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript, including Dialogflow CX / conversational test automation.
• Experience testing conversational voice agents, Google Dialogflow CX / Google CES, voice bot, IVR, contact centre, or IVR/CCaaS migrations.
• ISTQB or comparable QA certification.
• Familiarity with AI Tools and AI First mindset.
