The Work

As the Software Project Manager, Staff you will:

• Coordinate planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility
• Plan and formulate engineering programs
• Review product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications
• Evaluate and approve design changes, specification and drawing releases
• Coordinate activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or similar Engineering/Technical field, or in lieu of degree, seven years'' of engineering experience.
• Five or more years' experience leading/managing teams in an Agile environment
• Five or more years' experience with engineering methodologies
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance at the "Secret" level prior to start (requires U.S. citizenship)

Desired Skills

• Seven or more years'' experience with software development methodologies
• Demonstrated project leadership skills, ability to work independently and lead team
• Experience as an Agile Team Lead (Product Owner, Release Train Engineer, etc.)
• Earned Value Management experience
• Atlassian Tools suite applications
• Well versed with system and software engineering

processes throughout a program lifecycle

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $118000.00 - $219100.00

Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate''s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market(work location) and business considerations when extending an offer.

• Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
