    Description

    Devices and Services Trust and Privacy (DSTP) is responsible for maintaining and raising the trust bar for Amazon customers across a diverse set of 30+ Devices and Services (D&S). DSTP offers horizontal services for builders to ensure trust, privacy, and accessibility is built into our products and services. We also build customer-facing capabilities that provides customers with control and transparency and reducing privacy risk, while enabling partner teams to innovate with appropriate guardrails for content moderation, privacy, accessibility, and trust.

    The DSTP team is looking for a passionate Software Engineer who would be working on building scaleable platform and tools that helps in raising the bar for Privacy and Security for products rolled out by Amazon Devices and Services.

    In this role, you will apply your creative and critical problem solving skills to improve and build new and innovative solutions that help in scaling Privacy controls. You must have a passion to apply engineering solutions to complex privacy and data governance challenges, and recognize and fill gaps in capabilities. Above all, you should be passionate about privacy, information security, the ever-changing threat landscape and privacy/security automation and tooling.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market.
    • Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.
    • Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed.
    • Build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage/use.
    • Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
    • Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.
