Job description

We are seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of talented engineers in the development and delivery of high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, proven leadership skills, and the ability to drive projects from conception to completion while ensuring that the team works effectively and efficiently. The candidate should also be able to perform team management tasks, such as providing feedback and evaluation to junior engineers, and keeping track of team performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product management, design, and operations to ensure alignment on goals and priorities.

Minimum qualifications

BS degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent practical experience

Senior knowledge and experience in either C++, Rails, or React

Experience leading teams and managing people

Experience providing support, feedback, and evaluation to junior engineers

Strong proactiveness and patience to search for resources, documentation, and conduct testing

Ability to debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasks

Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages and frameworks including but not limited to: Ruby on Rails, React, Typescript, Python, JavaScript, C/C++, C#, Objective C

Preferred qualifications (but not required)

Over 5 years of professional work experience in skills in the Minimum qualifications

Experience in mobile development (iOS or Android)

Experience in web development

Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems internals (e.g., filesystems, system calls) and administration or networking (e.g., routing, ESDN)

Experience in analyzing and troubleshooting systems

Experience designing large-scale distributed systems

Experience designing and developing software oriented towards systems or network automation
