    What will youcontribute?As part of Finastra’s AI COE, we areseekingfor anEngineering Lead to oversee engineeringteams andto successfully embed AI capabilities into customerserviceproducts

    Responsibilities & Deliverables:Your deliverables as an Engineering Lead will include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Hire,leadand manage a cross-functional engineering team including front-end,back-end, and DevOps specialists

    • Partner closely with the Customer Service Product Owner to translate product vision and requirements into technical solutions

    • Oversee design, development, and deployment of a customer facing front end application that uses AI features from established platforms.

    • Establish engineering standards, bestpractices, and quality benchmarks for the development team

    • Ensure technical excellence across all aspects of development including code quality, testing, and documentation

    • Manage sprint execution, technical planning, and resource allocation across the engineering team

    • Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across front-end, back-end, AI, and DevOps disciplines

    • Remove technical blockers and resolve dependencies that impact team productivity and delivery

    • Monitor system performance, reliability, and scalability, implementing improvements as needed

    • Mentor and develop engineering talent, providing technical guidance and career developmentservice

    • Ensure engineering solutions meet security, compliance, and governance requirements

    • Collaborate with architecture and infrastructure teams toleverageshared platforms and services

    • Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, tools, and team capabilities

    • Manage technical debt and balance feature delivery with platform stability and maintainability

    Required Skills &Experience:

    • Understanding of customerserviceand service domains

    • Proventrack recordof deliveringfront end applications 

    • Deep understanding of full-stack development including front-end, back-end, and infrastructure

    • Experience in delivering cloud native applications

    • Expertisein modern software development methodologies including agile and lean practices

    • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with product owners and translate requirements into technical solutions

    • Experience leading teams through the complete software development lifecycle

    • Strong technical skills with hands-on experience in software architecture and design

    • Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

    • Track recordof building high-performing, collaborative engineering teams

    • Strong problem-solving abilities with focus on pragmatic, scalable solutionsUnderstanding of software quality practices including testing, code reviews, and technical documentation
