Job Summary

The Software Engineer will support test infrastructure development by building and maintaining internal web applications and engineering tools. The role involves full-stack development, feature implementation, debugging, testing, integration, deployment support, documentation, and collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams.

Software Engineer Test Infrastructure Development
Location: Santa Clara, CA

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal web applications and engineering tools usingPython, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, SQL, HTML, and CSS.
• Implement end-to-end features including backend services, REST APIs, database integrations, and frontend UI.
• Troubleshoot software defects, performance issues, deployment problems, and production support issues.
• Write maintainable code, automated tests, and technical documentation.
• Participate in code reviews and follow software development standards.
• SupportCI/CD, Linux application deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure maintenance.
• Use AI-assisted development tools and support AI-enabled workflows such as search, summarization, log analysis, and automation.
• Collaborate withTest Engineering, Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations**, and distributed software teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree inComputer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering**, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong full-stack development experience across frontend, backend, databases, APIs, deployment, and system integration.
• StrongPythonprogramming and practicalBash/Linuxscripting experience.
• StrongSQL and relational database skills, including schema design, efficient queries, indexes, and basic query optimization.
• Experience withJavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS , and modern frontend build tools such as npm/yarn.
• Experience developing and consumingREST APIs.
• Working knowledge ofGit, code reviews, testing, documentation, CI/CD, Linux deployment, logging, processes, basic networking, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to independently execute development tasks within an existing architecture.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
