Technical Lead / Engineering Lead (Delivery & Solution Ownership)

Pay Rate: $80.00 - $86.00per hr.
Our client is looking for a Technical Lead / Engineering Lead to drive delivery and technical execution across a digital origination platform supporting consumer banking applications.
This role combines hands-on development (55–60%) with technical leadership, coordination, and cross-team execution responsibilities. There is no direct people management.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead technical delivery across a team of 7–8 engineers
- Own and drive execution of larger solution components beyond individual user stories
- Coordinate across dependency teams and stakeholders
- Identify and remove delivery blockers and technical gaps
- Support system design and architecture decisions
- Contribute to modernization and refactoring efforts
- Ensure alignment across engineering, infrastructure, and governance teams
- Provide hands-on development support as needed (55–60%)
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science & Seven (7) years of related experience
- Strong full-stack engineering background (.NET and React preferred)
- Experience leading technical delivery efforts
- Ability to manage cross-team dependencies and execution risks
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
Preferred Skills
- AWS experience (strongly preferred due to modernization roadmap)
- Experience in cloud-native/containerized environments
- Banking or financial services background
- Experience driving technical debt reduction or system refactoring
