Software Engineer- Sr

JOB DESCRIPTION
Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs, and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, or Internet-related computer programs. Code may be used in enterprise or end-user applications, such as traveller management, guest management, biometrics capture, or desktop applications products. Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications. Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. Provides in-depth technical trainings to internal engineering teams. May interact with government and enterprise customers to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications. May provide technical guidance to less experienced software engineers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Work with the stakeholders for requirement analysis and milestone definitions.
Design, write, test, integrate, and maintain software applications.
Write clean and maintainable code
Perform documentation and code peer review sessions, group discussion and continuous training
Rapidly learn new application and technologies

MANDATORY SKILLS
Java 17: Proficiency in core Java programming, in Java 8 or later. 6-8 years experience
Spring Framework: Proficiency with Spring Beans 6-8 years experience
Hibernate / Sprint Data JPA: Proficiency in one of these database management technologies or similar. 4-5 years experience
Restful web services: Proficiency in the design and implementation of REST based web services. 4-5 years experience

DESIRED SKILLS
Kubernetes: Familiarity with kubernetes based application deployments. 0-3 Years experience
Azure Dev Ops pipelines: Familiarity with Azure Dev Ops or similar application build and deployment pipelines. 0-3 Years experience
Liquibase: Familiarity with Liquibase database script management. 0-3 Years experience
Docker: Familiarity with docker builds and container based deployments. 0-3 Years experience
BPMN workflow engines: Familiarity with a Java BPMN workflow engine such as JBPMN or Acitviti 0-3 Years experience

MANDATORY CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

SCRUM or other agile certification
