Roles and Responsibilities:
• Build and configure virtual services in Broadcom DevTest based on incoming requests and defined requirements • Analyze service dependencies and translate requirements into functional virtual service models • Perform basic validation and ensure services meet performance and reliability expectations -Ongoing / Frequent Responsibilities • Collaborate with stakeholders to refine service virtualization use cases and improve implementations • Provide end-user guidance on when and how to leverage service virtualization effectively • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within DevTest environments -As Work Progresses / Advanced Responsibilities • Engage with Broadcom vendor support to address complex technical issues or product limitations • Enhance and optimize virtual services through custom scripting and automation • Contribute to best practices, documentation, and scaling adoption across teams.
Must Have Technical Skills: Years of experience: 5-8 yrs
• Broadcom DevTest (v10.9.x or similar)- Preferred 10.8 or 10.9, but open to others • Hands-on experience building and maintaining virtual services • Strong understanding of service virtualization concepts • Windows Server (2019 / 2022) • Experience managing, configuring, and troubleshooting environments • Custom Scripting (Java, JavaScript) • Ability to extend DevTest functionality and automate service behavior.
Flex Skills/Nice to Have:
• OpenShift • Familiarity with containerized environments and deployment pipelines.
Soft Skills:
• Communication Skills • Effectively gather and clarify technical and business requirements • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, non-technical language for stakeholders • Stakeholder Engagement • Set expectations and align teams on service virtualization value and usage • Problem-Solving & Adaptability • Diagnose issues quickly and work across teams (including vendors) to resolve them.
