Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Early Career Software Engineer for Simulation and Training Products. Our products are used to represent the world's most advanced combat systems, supporting a variety of mission areas and uses. In this role, you will work on software and test execution. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Object-Oriented Software Engineering, C++/Java, and Linux/Unix.

Must be a US Citizen.; This position will require a government security clearance.; This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Electrical Computer Engineering or in a closely related field.
  • Experience using C/C++, Java, and/or Python.
  • Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access

Desired Skills

  • Experience with Network Topology Configuration, Modeling Tools, Static Code Analysis tools.
  • Experience in Model Based Engineering and related tools.
  • Experience with the Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Bitbucket, Crucible, Confluence) or Gitlab.
  • Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills required.
  • Familiarity with Linux and/or Unix

Pay Information

  • $61500.00 - $116455.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
