Software Engineer

• Hands-on full-stack software engineer supporting Test Infrastructure Development.
• Work closely with Senior Software Engineers on technical direction, architecture, design review, and priorities.
• Focus on feature implementation, bug fixing, testing, integration, deployment support, documentation, and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain internal web applications and engineering tools using Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, SQL, HTML, and CSS.
• Implement end-to-end features including backend services, REST APIs, database integrations, and frontend UI.
• Troubleshoot software defects, performance issues, deployment problems, and production support issues.
• Write maintainable code, tests, and technical documentation; participate in code reviews.
• Support CI/CD, Linux application deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure maintenance.
• Use AI-assisted development tools and support AI-enabled workflows such as search, summarization, log analysis, and automation.
• Collaborate with Test Engineering, Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and globally distributed software teams.

Required Skills:

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong full-stack development skills across frontend, backend, databases, APIs, deployment, and system integration.
• Strong Python programming and Bash/Linux shell scripting experience.
• Strong SQL and relational database skills, including schema design, efficient queries, indexes, and basic query optimization.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS, and npm/yarn.
• Experience developing/consuming REST APIs.
• Familiarity with OAuth, JWT, SSO, RBAC, and secure API design.
• Working knowledge of Git, code review, testing, documentation, CI/CD, Linux deployment, logs, processes, networking, and troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Jenkins/GitLab CI.
• Docker/Containers.
• Automated deployment, cloud, VMs, or bare-metal Linux servers.
• Internal engineering tools, developer platforms, test automation, dashboards, or data visualization.
• Manufacturing test, hardware diagnostics, lab automation, product validation, or engineering infrastructure.
• LLM APIs, prompt engineering, RAG/vector search, agents, or function/tool calling.

Qualification:

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering.
