Software Engineer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer with strong full stack development skills to design, develop, integrate, and maintain modern software applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, C#, RESTful APIs, databases, and client/server communication using WebSockets. This role will work within an Agile development environment and contribute across the full software development lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, and ongoing enhancement of enterprise applications.

Duties

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full stack software applications using modern development technologies and frameworks.

• Develop responsive frontend applications using JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and React.

• Build, integrate, and consume RESTful APIs to support application functionality and system integrations.

• Develop and maintain backend services using C# and object-oriented programming principles.

• Implement client/server communication using WebSocket protocols for real-time application functionality.

• Design and interact with relational databases, including Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar technologies.

• Apply software design patterns, concurrency concepts, and asynchronous programming techniques to develop scalable and maintainable solutions.

• Participate in Agile software development processes, including planning, development, testing, code reviews, and continuous improvement activities.

• Use Git for version control and contribute to CI/CD processes and automated deployment pipelines.

• Develop and maintain containerized applications using Docker.

• Work with GitLab pipelines to support build, test, and deployment processes.

• Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.

• Collaborate with software engineers, technical teams, and other stakeholders to define requirements and deliver software solutions.

• Share technical knowledge and contribute to development standards, best practices, and team documentation.

• Work independently on assigned development tasks while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of professional software development experience with full stack development.

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.

• Strong knowledge of static typing and modern frontend development using React.

• Professional experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.

• Experience working with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar.

• Hands-on experience implementing client/server communication using WebSocket protocols.

• Strong object-oriented programming skills, particularly in C# and JavaScript.

• Experience with design patterns, concurrency, and asynchronous programming.

• Experience working in Agile software development environments.

• Hands-on experience with Git version control and CI/CD practices.

• Experience with Docker and application containerization.

• Familiarity with GitLab pipelines.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a development team.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to share technical knowledge effectively.

• Experience developing applications using AWS cloud services.

• Experience designing, developing, or supporting microservices architectures.
