The Software Engineer will develop, test, and maintain software solutions that support critical operations within the life science industry. This role will focus on creating innovative and efficient technological solutions as part of a collaborative and varied team.

Description
- Experience developing applications that interface with industrial equipment or machinery utilizing PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) frameworks
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including:
- Data modeling and schema design
- Writing and optimizing stored procedures, views, and complex queries
- Working with SSIS packages and Entity Framework
- Hands-on experience developing applications using VB.NET and/or C#
- Proven ability to debug and troubleshoot performance issues, including machine timing and system latency problems
- Experience building, deploying, and maintaining applications using Git, Octopus Deploy, and TeamCity
- Experience designing, deploying, or supporting applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS), including:
- Cloud-based application hosting and infrastructure
- Integration with on‑premise systems and industrial environments
- Monitoring, logging, and performance optimization in cloud environments
- Familiarity with Agile development tools, including Jira for work tracking and Confluence for documentation
