Software Engineer - Platform

Our client, a growing Fintech firm based in Boston is looking for a Platform Software Engineer to join the team.  As a member of our platform team, you will be building and scaling production web applications for a fintech platform.
 
Skills

• Build and scale production web infrastructure.
• Manage systems with complex domain logic and concurrent state.
• Work on architecture optimization to help scale account capacity.

• Ruby on Rails, Stimulus, React, PostgreSQL, Linux
• Open-source coding agents + local LLMs

• 2+ years of experience building production web applications
• Demonstrated ability to understand systems with complex domain logic and concurrent, order-sensitive states.
• Strong understanding of multi-processing and multi-threading usage
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails or similar MVC frameworks
• Strong SQL skills: able to write complex multi-table queries, understand query plans, and data integrity
• 1+ years of experience working in a Linux environment
• Ability to handle common command-line utilities and Unix process management
• Comfortable with bash scripting
• Experience in a fintech
