As an Application System Architect, youll be at the forefront of shaping comprehensive, end-to-end solutions for complex business challenges. Your role involves analyzing organizational needs, designing scalable architectures, and aligning technological solutions and business objectives. Youll collaborate with stakeholders, solution architect, development teams, and other architect to ensure cohesive system integration. Additionally, youll provide strategic guidance, oversee implementation, and stay abreast of financial service industry trends to recommend innovative solutions that optimize efficiency and drive business success.
Responsibilities:
Ten or more years of Full-Stack Application Development experience
Develop high-level and detailed system designs, ensuring they align with business objectives and adhere to architectural best practices.
Participate in technology/software analysis for input into build/buy/leverage technology/software.
Follows SAFe Agile Methodologies and SCRUM process as defined in App Practices Standards
Excellent written and verbal communication and interaction ability with both business and development personnel.
Design solution that are scalable, performant, and adaptable to evolving business needs.
Creates comprehensive documentation of system (such as Software Architecture Document, Data Flow Diagram, Technical Specifications) as defined in App Practices Standards
Owns review, approval, and management (future elimination) of any exceptions with the App Practices Standards governance (such as Veracode and SonarQube)
Collaborates and coordinates technical activities across technical teams (E2E design)
Codes/Develops significant frameworks, patterns, or business capabilities.
Mentors and provides technical expertise and assistance for other UI/API/QA/Database developers.
Excellent reasoning ability and ability to transform business functions to existing or new technical applications.
Ability to think independently and exercise good judgment.
Ability to document business problems and flows into Technical Specifications and Technical Requirements
Ability to track and report on data focused outcomes during the SCRUM and Requirement gathering process (such as Bug resolution, Veracode fixes, SonarQube fixes, and refinement within their respective SLAs (Service Level Agreement))
Active participation in meetings such as Tech Talks, Tech Briefs and other defined in the Meeting Roles section of this standard
Ownership of production incidents root cause (RC) and resolution for their applications within SLA (Service Level Agreement)
Qualifications (must have):
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business, or a relevant field preferred
3+ years of experience as application architect or in a similar role
Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver solutions.

Basic Requirements:

Create PBIs for non-functional requirements per App Practices standards (e.g., performance, logging, etc.
