A venture-backed healthcare and AI startup in New York is hiring a Software Engineer to help build the core infrastructure and user-facing products that power the company’s rapid growth. In this full-time, on-site role, you’ll work across the stack to solve critical business problems through software and drive measurable outcomes across user growth, operational efficiency, and revenue.
You’ll be expected to take ownership of major projects end to end — from scoping and design through implementation and rollout — in close collaboration with product, operations, and go-to-market teams.
Own major product areas and drive outcomes through roadmap execution
Design and build full-stack features across front-end, back-end, and infrastructure
Develop automation for complex workflows involving insurance, affordability, and fulfillment
Apply AI/ML techniques to extract, classify, and reason over unstructured healthcare data
Build internal systems including state machines, data pipelines, and intelligent process orchestration
Work directly with clients to understand needs and deliver effective solutions
Help define engineering standards, architecture, and tools to support team scalability
Collaborate closely with leadership to balance speed and long-term technical investments
Full-stack engineering experience, ideally with Python, React, and TypeScript
Strong systems thinking and comfort working across domains: frontend, backend, infrastructure
Experience with scalable architectures and automating complex workflows
Familiarity with data modeling, ML pipelines, or unstructured data processing is a plus
Product and business-minded approach with ownership mentality
Comfortable in fast-paced environments with high autonomy
Willingness to work in-person 5 days/week in NYC
Base salary: $150,000 – $225,000
