The client Software Engineering team is looking for a highly motivated, technically driven Software Engineer to focus on the design, development and test of software on cross-functional project teams. Payrate: $65 to $70 per hour.

Job Description:
The client Software Engineering team is looking for a highly motivated, technically driven Software Engineer to focus on the design, development and test of software on cross-functional project teams. These projects develop Windows-based tools, applications, and instrument drivers for in-circuit test systems.

Responsibilities

• Learn and understand all aspects of the in-circuit Test Systems
• Participate in all phases of software development – design, implementation, debug, test, verification.
• Develop software in C++, C# for existing or new test platforms; from the user interface to the driver level.
• Participate in troubleshooting/debug/resolution of customer issues.
• Collaborate with engineers from other disciplines in diagnosing and solving complex system problems.

Must Have:

• Successful candidates must have a BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience.
• Experience in developing with C/C++, C#, .NET framework, and XML.
• Demonstrated knowledge of MFC and Object-Oriented Methodologies / UML programming skills.
• Knowledge of MS Visual Studio Development tools and the Client Windows Platforms.
• Experience scripting with Powershell, Perl, Visual Basic.
• General understanding of software engineering processes.
• Demonstrable hardware and driver knowledge.
• Highly motivated team player who can excel in a dynamic environment with strong personal discipline, and good verbal and written communication skills.
