Overview
What We're Looking For
As a Software Engineer Level 2 at CyberPoint, you will design, develop and maintain software solutions supporting mission-critical systems. You'll work across the full software development lifecycle - analyzing requirements, building scalable solutions, and ensuring performance and reliability in complex environments.
This role requires strong collaboration with system engineers, hardware engineers and mission stakeholders to deliver high-quality software aligned with operational requirements. You'll also play a key role in improving development processes, mentoring team members and ensuring technical excellence across deliverables.

This position is 100% onsite in Maryland and requires an active TS/SCI+FSP Security Clearance.

Qualifications
What You'll Need
U.S. Citizenship
Active TS/SCI+FSP Clearance
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university
OR Four (4) additional years of Software Engineering experience may be substituted for a degree
Eight (8) years of experience as a Software Engineer on programs of similar scope and complexity
Strong Experience with:
Python
Bash
JavaScript
React
Grafana
Experience designing, developing and maintaining complex software systems
Experience with database queries and data repository integration
Ability to work across the full software development lifecycle
Experience collaborating in cross-functional engineering environments
