Atlanta, GA, Birmingham, AL, or Charlotte, NC (Hybrid- onsite 3 days per week)
4-month contract with possibility of extending
Pay Rate: $75.00 - $84.00per hr.

Our client is seeking a Software Engineer to support a combination of legacy applications and the organization's target-state cloud environment. This role will work across multiple technology stacks, with a primary focus on .NET development, React.js, AWS, application modernization, and vulnerability remediation. The Software Engineer will support the Frontier AI initiative, a technology-wide effort focused primarily on remediating critical and high vulnerabilities across approximately 13 applications/CI codes. The engineer will also contribute to automation initiatives and the migration of legacy applications to modern, cloud-native technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, enhance, and modernize applications across legacy and target-state environments.
  • Work with .NET Core, .NET Framework, and ASP.NET applications.
  • Develop and support modern applications using React.js and JavaScript.
  • Support applications and services running in or transitioning to AWS.
  • Remediate critical and high-severity vulnerabilities across multiple applications and technology stacks, with additional medium- and low-severity remediation as needed.
  • Help modernize legacy applications by converting them from existing .NET frameworks into the organization's AWS target-state architecture.
  • Participate in cloud-native application modernization efforts.
  • Support the development and implementation of automation for client secret/password rotation.
  • Work with HashiCorp Vault and Harness CI/CD pipelines to automate client secret rotations.
  • Work across existing Azure DevOps applications while supporting the organization's migration toward GitHub and Harness.
  • Utilize GitHub Copilot as part of the team's current AI-assisted development practices.
  • Collaborate with development and technology teams to understand application vulnerabilities, determine appropriate remediation approaches, and implement solutions.
  • Support applications utilizing modern architectural approaches, including micro-frontend services.
  • Work with technologies including Temenos, React, JavaScript, and AWS as part of the target-state environment.
  • Contribute to the team's broader Frontier AI/MythOS-related technology initiatives.
